geography & economics of mid-1800s america

summary:
after looking at students' work on the 'comparing north and south' worksheet that students had done for homework, i divided students into two groups. students whose work showed me that they understood all of the main points from that assignment worked on an atlas activity in the hallway while the rest of us stayed in the classroom and reviewed the questions and revised our answers. then, students began the atlas work. 

homework:
finish 'comparing north & south' revisions, and also the atlas worksheet from today (due 9/25)
