congressional hearing on native american boarding schools

summary:
we began with the question of why the us government established (started) and maintained (continued to operate) native american boarding schools (nabs), before setting up a simulation in which i played the part of director of indian affairs, and students acted as members of congress. we proceeded to hold a hearing on native american boarding schools in which i recapped their history and emphasized the good intentions of the us government. we closed with an intense question and answer session.
